Shooting the bots in laser tag arena technically isn’t a crime you’re supposed to shoot them as part of the laser tag experience

To be fair you're not stealing the Blaster, you won it fair and square, and it's a reward you get to keep, as you won it.

I'd just like to point out that destroying Monty is probably more legally justifiable than Chica bc Monty is actively pursuing you during his boss sequence

Also legal buffer: we are a child.

(doesn't cover everything, but given we appear young enough, there's some bufferroom)

2:23 “1 free photo pass” which means the pizzaplex or the staff are legally giving you 1 for free which means you arent stealing it

I would say Monty Golf is more legally protected than Flazerblast.
With Fazerblast you push chica into the compator, you turn on the trash compactor with a button specifically labeled "trash", and YOU intentionally put the Mystery Mix in the compactor after learning that chica goes crazy for it. With Monty Golf you just push an unlabeled button that could do anything! There is nothing telling gregory that pressing that button could damage Monty

Law student in the UK here. If SB took place in England & Wales*, it would technically be impossible to play the game without doing anything wrong.

(*This qualification is necessary as other jurisdictions may have different requirements to successfully prove the wrongdoing discussed below.)

Given that Gregory was hiding in Freddy before the story started, it may be inferred that he does not hold a valid ticket and thus does not have the permission of Fazbear Entertainment, or whoever has exclusive possession of the Mega Pizzaplex, to be there. By having gained unauthorised entry into the Pizzaplex, Gregory will thus likely have committed the tort of trespass to land. In regard to intention, only that as to the act constituting trespass is required, not to trespass itself; in any case, if Gregory does not hold a valid ticket, the latter will necessarily be implied. Even if Gregory does have a valid ticket, he likely did not have permission from Fazbear Ent. to remain on the premises beyond the period during which the Pizzaplex is open to guests and would thus, by virtue of simply being there past closing time, have been trespassing.

On a side note, if such a claim is brought against Gregory by Fazbear Ent., it may however be open to him to counterclaim for false imprisonment. Over the course of the story, we learn that there is no way out of the Pizzaplex available to Gregory once the main doors shut at 12 a.m. and reopen at 6 a.m.; his liberty was thus totally restricted. Additionally, that the Pizzaplex had no unlocked emergency exits likely means Fazbear Ent. was at least reckless as to falsely imprisoning Gregory, i.e. that Gregory’s false imprisonment was a foreseeable consequence of not providing unlocked emergency exits.

It should also be noted that if Gregory fails to establish recklessness on Fazbear Ent.’s part, he may also bring a claim in negligence against them; this would however likely be more difficult to prove as it requires him to have suffered actionable harm, i.e. some damage or injury.

(Nothing in this comment is, or is intended to be, legal advice. Consult your solicitor in regard to any legal matters.)

To everyone saying "trespassing", I say you could probably sue Fazbear Entertainment for not having proper security measures for if a child gets stuck after hours as Gregory did not break into the pizzaplex, he was already there, im mostly sure tresspassing only stands with the other child in the Ruin dlc.
