Unfortunately the implementation of this matte coating kills the sharpness altogether. The screen has issues with luminance uniformity and the corners are significantly darker than the middle of the screen. Again, it seems that the coating is the victim. This is much worse comparing to my old lg 27” 4k monitor which is much cheaper (although srgb only). I also noticed blue and magenta tints on the screen which affects color uniformity too. I really hoped it was better, but there are other reviews that confirm my observations. LG, please change the coating or just make it glossy-like. For now this is no-go for photography from my perspective.

A monitor arm changes everything for the best ergonomically.

I just returned this monitor due to some usb port glitch issue. I also found some other complaints about usb online

I really don't like this matte coating, it looks oily to me. I wish it was glossy like apple studio display.

This is 3000 grand in Canada or around 2100 USD. It has not come down yet.

5:00 That video quality in 2026 was a jump scare for +$1,000🥶 This is definitely for a specific work related user.
