The glossy finish on the Studio Display looks to have more color and contrast than the LG, probably due to the matte coating.

i just love that the studio display doesn't come with anti-reflective coating by default. The coating makes the colours on every other 5k monitors look less vibrant

what kills all the experience to me no matter the technology behind it, is the matte screen. the industry should at least gives the user power of choice man like what the hell

Just got mine after upgrading from the Samsung C34J791WTR (Ultrawide) and man the quality is incredible. People which have not seen it live, these videos don't do justice. The Matte screen is not a problem. I was thinking it was going to be an issue but not a single issue. Great video!

monitor arms are so much better than stands, fully adjustable and frees up all that desk space, much cleaner too

Big fan still of my old black Ultra fine 5k still working but got busted - am expecting this monitor would be as good! Nice review

Thank you for shooting up light on the right. It helps me to see how would it work for me with having a window with bright sunlight from right.

I am so torn between gaming and productivity - I need both. Every monitor I have seen is either or. Waiting for something that supports - windows and Mac,, supports at least 120hz for gaming, color accurate, does not need a kidney to buy, I totally get it, wish list and reality are totally two different things. 😕
