  Optimus Prime is the perfect example of mercy and having to take a life. He never wants to do it and is willing to save a villain&apos;s life. But he knows there are times when it is necessary. <br><br>Like the saying goes, be strong enough to be gentle.

  I always found it funny with the DC/Marvel crossover with Batman and Punisher it took Frank one issue to figure out the Joker had to be put down and was willing to do it.

  The biggest issue i see with no kill rule heroes is that they will use excessive force on grunts but decide mercy on mid to high grade villains. The brutality never matches the offense of the criminal. Sure bruce doesn’t want to kill the joker but is leaving him inside a torture room not a better solution heck u can even just put him in an empty room if you don’t want to be brutal with guns pointed at him

  The absolute WORST case of the no kill rule is in the CW flash show. They’ll murder someone outright then turn around in the next episode and say “we never kill as a solution”

  It&apos;s crazy to think how if Art the Clown went on a murder spree in Gotham, Batman would just beat him up and throw him in Arkham, which would likely just lead to the horrific slaughter of the guards and staff. 😅

  I feel like Moon Knight is the best moral compromise. While brutal he doesn&apos;t try to kill every henchman or villain in his way, however if someone&apos;s gotta disappear, he&apos;ll make them.
