  Reminds me of that woman fell on a spiked board back in the 1990s, partially lifted herself off it again and fell into it again, husband was accused of murdering her to start and the cops tried to railroad him so they could say case closed murderer caught. Once they actually investigated it wasn&apos;t him as he was in a pub miles away.<br><br>Average US &quot;justice&quot; system farce.

  Hey, City ppl -- Throwing and injured family member into the pickup and THEN calling 911 is NORMAL! Waiting on EMS to get to us can cost us our lives!

  I won&apos;t argue with the evidence, but I will say having grown up on a farm, the accidents that happen are BIZARRE sometimes.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmogFfmzyVc&amp;t=565">9:25</a> on the point regarding when he called 911 - &nbsp;I grew up as the daughter of a 4th generation farmer in neighboring Wisconsin. There’s only one county between mine and Todd’s. In rural counties like this, ambulances can be staffed by volunteers or paid-per-call members. It might take 15-20 minutes for the ambulance to arrive. He may have known that it would be faster to transport his wife himself rather than waiting for an ambulance. In a situation like this, I would not blame him for making the choice he did.

  All of the &quot;suspicious&quot; actions you listed, like sending the son to check on his mum and physically driving her to the hospital.... those are all things you would expect a farmer to do.

  The defense lawyer did not do his duty by Mullis. He basically shrugged his shoulders and said, &quot;The prosecution is 100% right except it wasn&apos;t my client!&quot; Mullis may well be guilty but I think a proper defense might have established reasonable doubt and that&apos;s how it&apos;s supposed to work.<br><br>Also not happy with the way the prosecutor used those tapes. Listeners can be primed to &quot;hear&quot; the words you tell them to expect and she played them several times <b>after</b> she asked if Mullis could hear &quot;cheating whore&quot;/&quot;go to hell&quot;. Undoubtedly some of the jurors thought it sounded like that, too, and you can&apos;t be sure if that was an independent conclusion or one influenced by her suggestion.

  I believe Todd needs a new trial. It is ludicrous that your own lawyer says it was murder. &nbsp;Before reading Silhouette&apos;s post, I thought that the wife might have lightly hit the fork then fell on it &nbsp; a second time, just like the case Silhouette cited.
