  As a Chicago division BNSF Road Conductor this was some accurate information!! Also The ZCHIDEN is now the ZCCHDEN because it's built in Cicero yard now and ran on the Chicago sub to the Mendota sub onward. They made this change in between 2023 and early 2024. I used to work the CHI202 at Corwith yard sometimes and we used to put the Denver train together there and run it to a spot called "canal bank" off of I-55 here in Chicago for the Ft. Madison road crew to pick up. I'm on the BN side now and it's Galesburg crews that run the Denver to Galesburg for a changeover. I hired out on the Santa Fe side in 2021 when i left UPRR so I'm highly familiar with the Chillicothe ("Chili") sub!!

  Most of these intermodal consists have changed since this was taken. BNSF no longer carries Schneider containers, Hanjin Shipping went bankrupt in 2017, Yellow Trucking went bankrupt in 2023, and the Marten containers were sold to COFC Logistics.

  I railfan the Chillicothe Subdivision because it is the closest major railroad with many trains.  My favorite spots are usually at Princeville Illinois, Edelstein Illinois above Edelstein Hill, and Monica Illinois. These are my favorite spots.

  Love the fort Madison railcam because you get to see one almost every half hour but I always miss all the good herritage units 😂

  I railfan the Chillicothe Sub from Mazon Illinois to Galesburg but haven't really ventured towards Chicago.  I like the long straight aways out in the farmland of Illinois

  At the beginning of this video, the narrator had said the merger took place on July 20, 1995 but the merger actually took place on September 22, 1995 when the ATSF and the BN merged to become today's BNSF railway.  And I must say there is plenty of good locations to see hot trains rolling across the this portion of the Southern Transcon.  Keep up the good work.

  I took my first trip to the Southern Transcon in 2017, did Toluca to Galesburg/Cameron. Then in 2018 did the Marceline Sub La Plata to KC. I am LONG overdue for another southern transcon run. It is the best ran stretch of track in North America, I believe, and you can't beat those middle of nowhere 70mph Z trains, especially at night.
