Setting sail from Buenos Aires aboard the Oosterdam toward Uruguay, Patagonia, Cape Horn, the Falkland Islands, and Antarctica is a dream journey through some of the most dramatic and historically significant regions on Earth. This route follows the paths of legendary explorers who crossed the turbulent waters of the Southern Ocean in search of new lands and discoveries. Cape Horn, known as the “End of the World” by sailors, has challenged mariners for centuries, while Antarctica remains a symbol of exploration, scientific discovery, and the untouched beauty of our planet. Your solo travel story beautifully captures the excitement of stepping into the unknown, the first moments on the ship, the anticipation of departure, and the courage to explore such remote landscapes. Thank you for sharing this extraordinary adventure and bringing viewers along to experience the history, culture, and breathtaking wonders of South America and Antarctic. What an incredible journey you’ve shared—among all the unforgettable places you visited, what moment or experience from this South America and Antarctica cruise struck you the most and stayed in your heart forever?

This was so enjoyable to soak in your part 1 again from start to finish, and enjoy this leg of your journey. I really loved all the sea lion experiences you had, and the waves splashing around in the pools on the ship is crazy. I would have been so sick. I can’t believe that one location that the tax was 22%. That is crazy! So sad that you missed so many of your scheduled tours, but it looks like you still managed to make great use of your time and enjoy some fantastic experiences. Definitely curious if I would have been able to be brave enough to jump in with those sea lions. Lol You are very adorable ChooChoo, and it is always so very much fun hanging out with you. Thanks for the fun share. So question…have you ever gotten home from a tour and wished you would have been brave enough to try something out? What was it?

This was fun to see the start of your journey. The excitement of exploring your new home for the next while. The exploration of the buffet and ship was fun to explore with you. What was the thing you enjoyed eating the most on the ship, or were you more excited to get home to enjoy real food? 😂 I really loved joining your entire journey on this Holiday trip. It was such an epic adventure, and getting to see such amazing shots withrh Buloga whales was amazing. This church here on day 2 was lovely. I am curious where you think your next adventure will be off to? What is the normal day today for Choo Choo like now that you are back home? I still work full time being a teacher so juggling trying to create slowtv videos right now feels like I am juggling 2 jobs, but I really really would like this to work out so I don't have to work forever. 😂 The music dance event was interesting. I am so sorry you missed your tour. I am glad you still found something fun. So how many days did you feel really sick on this trip, the rough waters to the sea lions would have made me sick, I would have been tempted to swim with the sea lions for I hear they can be fun, but I have also heard they can be scary. My friend did a somersault in the water by one, and it mimiked her. That would be charming. Whoa those huge jelly fish was enormous. I was on a dive once and we ended up underneath a huge one like that. It was so intimidating and amazing at the same time.. It is so fun hanging out with you sweet friend..Thank you for letting me live this adventure vicariously through you. Best of luck creating a magical week. Hugs 🤗-Shauna

What a beautiful day to be embarking for you adventure and what a great itinerary. Your room looks just perfect for your epic trip. We are yet to try Holland America, but the ship looks just perfect. Buffets are always our first choice to eat as we enjoy the informality and being able to just have a look around and decide what we fancy and if we manage to get a window seat all the better. Sounds like you had an amazing time pre cruise and why not, make use of every second. Sorry to hear you didn't get to see the Penguins. But nice you got to see some Sea Lions. What an amazing trip and so many great memories.
