Thanks for this valuable info. I have bought most of my vehicles used. Some at auction, some parked in driveways, and a couple from the want ads. It is sad that we have been reduced to have to live in vehicles. But just as sad is that we have been conditioned to buy from the commercial market.<br>My gift is that I had learned auto repair at a young age from my father(RIP dad), and recieved a well stocked tool box from him since high school. Most people dont know a standard screwdriver from a phillips, nor a hex. No ones fault, just life.

Nice info about getting a decent running van and saving up for decades. A growing number of homeless people who does sleep and maybe go to a job IS growing in my area. ( Southern Florida ) I agree about social workers and just the community itself doesn't relay the message in a proper way.
