"That's Entertainment!" - Judy Garland Video Montage

I was listening to this song from the Judy at Carnegie Hall album and I pictured a collaboration of scenes from her movies playing as the song was going, so I made it a reality! This video does not show all of her movies and there are some duplicates of movies but I picked clips that I thought best fit with the song. I am a huge fan of Judy, so I made this video for people to see how talented she truly was. The video quality is not the best so I included the names of the clips I used so you can check them out on your own if you want to watch more. I recommend any movie of hers to watch but my top three right now (besides Oz) are: Meet Me In St. Louis, The Pirate, and Babes on Broadway! The audio is the song “That’s Entertainment! - Live” from her Judy at Carnegie Hall album. The footage of her singing the song from her show in 1963 is not connected with the audio. *I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE AUDIO OR FOOTAGE* Here is a list of her movies and at what line they show up at: The clown, with his pants falling down: “Be a Clown” from The Pirate (1948) Or the dance, that’s a dream of romance: The Christmas Ball scene from Meet Me In St. Louis (1944) Or the scene, where the villain is mean: Dorothy in the Witch’s Castle from The Wizard of Oz (1939) That’s entertainment!: “Who” from Till The Clouds Roll By (1946) The lights, on the lady in tights: “Get Happy” from Summer Stock (1950) Or the bride, with the guy by her side: Ending scene from Meet Me In St. Louis (1944) Or the ball, where she gives it her all - that’s entertainment!: “I Could Go On Singing” from I Could Go On Singing (1963) The plot can be hot, simply teeming with sex: “Love Of My Life” from The Pirate (1948) A gay divorcee who is after her ex: Tootie’s accident scene from Meet Me In St. Louis (1944) It can be Oedipus Rex… and causes a lot of bother: “That’s Entertainment” from The Band Wagon (1953) This is NOT one of Judy’s movies but it was quite difficult trying to find a clip to relate to this line so I stuck in the clip from the song from its original film The clerk, who is thrown out of work: You Cry Real Pretty scene from Babes on Broadway (1941) By the boss, who is thrown for a loss: “Born In a Trunk Medley” from A Star Is Born (1954) By the skirt, who is doing him dirt: “Tom, Tom, The Piper’s Son” from Presenting Lily Mars (1943) The world is a stage, the stage is a world of entertainment!: Clip from “That’s Entertainment” performed by Judy on her show The Judy Garland Show (1963) “Ballin’ The Jack” from For Me And My Gal (1942) “I Got Rhythm” from Girl Crazy (1943) “Swanee” from A Star Is Born (1954) “The Trolley Song” from Meet Me In St. Louis (1944) "Broadway Rhythm” from Presenting Lily Mars (1943) “When the Midnight Choo-Choo Leaves for Alabama” from Easter Parade (1948) “The Portland Fancy” from Summer Stock (1950) “I Don’t Care” from In The Good Old Summertime (1949) It might be a scene like you see on the screen: Mad Manuela from The Pirate (1948) A swain getting slain for the love of a queen: I’m Melting! scene from The Wizard of Oz (1939) Some great Shakespearean scene: “You Can Do No Wrong” from The Pirate (1948) Where a ghost and a prince meet, and everyone ends in mincemeat: ‘That’s Entertainment” from The Band Wagon (1953) - same deal Not sure what scene this is - Presenting Lily Mars (1943) The guy, who was waving the flag: “On The Atchison, Topeka, and the Santa Fe” from The Harvey Girls (1946) That began, with the mystical hand: Professor Marvel scene from The Wizard of Oz (1939) Hip hooray!
