I was in Vietnam first time in 2026 (April/May), HCMC and Da Nang. It was around 35-36 Gr C, but it didn´t feel that hot (for me), The many Trees and Parks in HCMC made it Ok, I loved to ride MotoTaxi to the city, very cool (and they have Helmets for Passenger). I loved the Cheap (but good ) healthcare and Dentists (saved tens of millions), i loved the amazing Good Food (but Bahn mi good, but not amazing). 30 April Fireworks was amazing in HCMC, all trafic stoped for 15 Min (down town) and Streets was full of happy people. I loved the Beach in Da Nang, easy trafic, many stores and restaurants. Nice Hotels and Pleanty to do.
Many has warned about Scams ? I saw very littel, just say no politely and walk. Use Grab for Transport . I could easy stay there for long time, Will return in August.

Hi, Marcus.
Good video.
In my opinion, pollution is one of the biggest downsides not only of Vietnam but also of many Asian cities in general. 😏
It was never something I worried about back home, then I arrived in Hanoi and... oops, 😅 it was quite a shock.
Moving to Vietnam definitely isn't for everyone. It pushes us out of our comfort zone almost every day... but at the same time I think we become more resilient, more patient... or maybe not. 😅Not everyone will enjoy Vietnam, and that's okay. There's a big world out there to discover, and different places suit different people.

There’s no perfect place in the world—it really comes down to whether you’re someone who embraces travel and new experiences, or someone who prefers to stay put and complain.

I’ve been in Vietnam for eight months now, and I absolutely love it. I’m not denying what the video shows—those issues can be real—but honestly, you could find the same faults in Paris or Rome. You just learn to avoid certain spots and be more selective about where you go.

The bottom line for me is this: the quality of life I have here—living in an apart-hotel that’s cleaned daily, eating out three meals a day—would be completely unaffordable for me anywhere in Europe.

You're giving valuable information on your videos. By the way, you (fortunately) made me change my mind about Georgia.

I really enjoy watching your channel because you ALWAYS tell the truth about the realistic pros and cons of the countries you visit and live. This is what the people really need to see and hear before they uproot their life from their home country. Keep telling the truth no matter how small the details. ❤
