  As a fisherman, I have always told people that fishing is gambling. Your currency is time rather than dollars, and the jackpot prize is a fish rather than a large amount of money. Also... the one that got away is like that time you nearly got that big win at the casino. Fishing IS gambling.

  Fishing is hunting. &nbsp;Hunting is essentially a gamble. &nbsp;However, hunting&apos;s odds can be increased with skill and comfort with the environment though. &nbsp;So, technically a skill sport with RNG elements.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ba-3pGy7UaY&amp;t=524">8:44</a> if you&apos;ve already rigged up, no need to cut it.<br><br>• Just undo your drag knob all the way off (very carefully to not drop the drag knob).<br>• Take off the spool.<br>• Open the bail.<br>• Put the spool back (be mindful of the squared shaft)<br>• Screw the drag knob back on.<br>[BE CAREFUL NOT TO DROP AND LOSE THE DRAG KNOB.]

  I had several chances to go fishing during a 40-day road trip along the east coast of Australia. I went fishing about five times and caught at least one fish every time. <br> <br>I caught a 31 cm bream at Shark Bay, NSW, and a 35 cm catfish somewhere in Queensland. Both were really good eating. I also caught and released a small flathead, a stingray with the hook still in its mouth (sorry, I hope it eventually got it out), a crescent grunter, and many small fish I didn&apos;t know the names of. <br> <br>It was actually my first time fishing. I just watched some YouTube videos by local anglers, bought a 7-foot rod-and-reel combo, and learned how to set up the right rigs. <br><br>If it&apos;s gambling I&apos;m one lucky gambler.
