  Luke Roberts killed it playing James. His acting in the ""I'm not your Mary" scene is so good. Confusion, anger, and sadness.

  One thing i wanted to say is that the "removing sheet to reveal important thing" represents Mary's body being under a sheet in the car. James is constantly removing these sheets because subconsciously he knows he has to accept Mary is dead.

  The way blooper handled Angela was... Frankly spectacular. I remember after the boss fight, I had to take a break. That cutscene broke me a little.

  Really glad to see you talking about this game! Even though I, like you, acknowledge the game’s flaws like the length, the gameplay padding, and the combat difficulty, the fact that they were able to remake a game that many people considered fundamentally unadaptable—one born from such a unique convergence of talent, influences, and happy accidents— and have people generally embrace it is miraculous, and in turn makes those faults seem far less significant.<br><br>P.S. Thanks for invoking old emotional scars in the first five seconds. :P

  Honestly, even before seeing the whole video, mad respect for being willing to make this video. I remember seeing you alot in the discussion around this game and it’s very cool to see how open you are about your opinion changing and acknowledging that you needed to give it a fair chance. Not something a lot of people are willing to do on the internet

  This was my first Silent Hill game, so maybe I don&apos;t have a leg to stand on here. But I thought pressing confirm a few times before jumping down the pit with no discernable bottom was a great touch. That was anxiety inducing, and having to make James reaffirm his own courage while scared as well made the whole situation real for me. If that makes sense.

  Maybe I&apos;m a masochist but I sort of love how unapologetically hard and unrelenting the new prison is. The old prison had a more dark and melancholy vibe which worked really well, and the new prison goes for an entirely different vibe, that being unrelenting terror. And yeah, IDK, I do sort of love the insane rush for what it is. I also appreciated that it still managed to keep some of the same calm, spooky areas from the original, like the courtyard being devoid of enemies, but you still get creeped out by what sound like galloping horses right behind you.<br><br>Then you continue from there to the labyrinth which is a full on gauntlet of nightmares culminating with a truly difficult version of the Eddie fight, idk I love it.
