  WANNA SEE BETTER GEAR CHANGES?? watch the video i uploaded just after this one! <br>My description of ADVANCE / RETARD was over simplified, i apologies, as there is a ofcourse a delay to the propagation of the explosion, it actually occurs a couple of degrees before top dead centre for 2000 rpm, i should have said instead of spark occuring on the down stroke, but the expansion of the gases on the downstroke. my apologies.

  Tip with the gear down changes - and I have an Austin 7 almost exactly like this - TAKE YOUR TIME. When the clutch is down - take the gear-lever to the middle, rev up a little, then select the gear and let the clutch out. Trick is to match the engine speed with the speed the gearbox needs. Gearchanges do need a bit of planning. Anticipation of road ahead is also helpful; and good luck with this car - she’s a beauty, don’t break her.

  As a baker I should know when sliced bread was invented, but a quick google solves that. The answer is July 7th 1928 is the accpeted date of sliced bread being commercially available. Which is hillarious because my first thought was of Grandpa Simpson&apos;s line &quot;It was the best thing since sliced bread. Sliced bread having been invented earlier that same year&quot;. 🤣
