I don't trust a word that comes out of a company spokesman's mouth<br><br>I trust people who bought it, had a terrible time with it, and what ecoflow's actions were<br><br>as it stands I wouldn't buy an ecoflow if it was 50% off. If a few years down the line the customer feedback improves I'd consider them but by that point I'll have bought into a battery system from a better brand and solar panels from cityplumbing

You asked EcoFlow all the right questions, thanks JT. About their support, I feel like they have the right intent to do the right thing for customers, but just their execution is lacking. I started with two EcoFlow Delta Pros and their Smart Home Panel, which was a great product that I used heavily for just over two years before the Delta Pros developed faults. Disappointing that they failed so soon, but EcoFlow saw me right under warranty. They offered to either repair them, or swap both the Delta Pros for two new Stream Ultra X’s, with a fresh new warranty. I was delighted to take up their offer, and I’ve even expanded further Ultra X’s for my own property and got my parents one too, because I have faith in them. The outcome of their support was perfect, however, the journey of that support case and other cases I’ve had has typically been slow with disjoined comms. Right outcome eventually but a painful journey to get there. I honestly believe their intentions are right, but they’re just either under-resourced or just need to work on optimising their processes.

Customer support is vital for the masses , Octopus is a good example of improving the customer experience . As you said it’s all about trust it’s gonna take time and huge investment from any manufacturer. Great vid 👍👌

What I actually want is simple and some vendors get this right<br>- Click on item registered on their site or in the app<br>- Select "I have a problem"<br>- Fill in the form<br>- See the status of the ticket in the API/website at all times (and any replies in case they get lost)<br>- See whether it's being repaired, has it been received, sent etc.<br><br>I shouldn't have to fight a vendor over purchase proofs of something they already confirmed, and should have visibility of the status. If they fixed that then not only would it be much but nicer but I'd guess half their support load would disappear because they must spend so much time fielding update requests and repeated stuff.<br><br>DC coupling is pretty much essential for a bigger system because all your inverters soon add up to over the G98 3.6kW limit whereas all your DC linked batteries and DC coupled solar does not.

Thank you for a really good video, and your comments resonate with me.

Very refreshing, thank you. <br>I had issues with two failed microinverters from Ecoflow and it was very stressful and timed consuming to get a resolution. It took way too long and was extremely complicated in my opinion!

Thanks JT for this video. I have dealt with customer services in the last month and they were ok. I ordered a Stream Max on the 1st August and hadn't heard anything for 3 weeks. When I enquired they told me it had sold out and i would have an upgrade for the same price. I then asked if I could go for the Stream 5000 instead and they said it couldn't be done. So I cancelled my order and then ordered the Stream 5000 instead.

Thank you for this video today as it has helped me, I decided to take my first step into solar and battery and have pre ordred the Stream5000 with the 4 solar panels, based on reviews (obviously yours included). I was not aware of any support issues, now I am but as you said they haven't denied there is an issue which gives me some peace of mind. I went with this system with the intent to have it properly installed by an electrician and it's a relitively inexpensive way in. Balcony solar was never on the cards for me so I was looking at a 'homebrew' system but the Stream 5000 seems to be a better option at an acceptable price. Also it allows for battery expansion later if required, I'm not a heavy electric user but do believe we all need to be doing something towards home generation for cost saving and to support our grid in the UK.

Banned me from purchasing on eBay after I left negative feedback, first time I've ever seen that. Not much of a ban I agree, but not much of a company posture!!
