I'm a retired High School teacher who used to chaperone trips to Gettysburg. Your channel is excellent!

There are as many stories as there are participants. That is the most brilliant thing I've ever heard.

I had the honor to visit the gettysburg Battlefield 4 times in the past 50 years. It is to me, one of the most solemn places there is.
If you take a minute or two, close your eyes, and just remain still and silent, you can almost hear the cannon, the muskets, the yelling of the soldiers as they engage in battle.
I always look forward to the drive from Waco Texas, and my children in the beginning, and now my grandchildren, who are now in high school, look forward to our field trips to historical places around America. Last year it was Gettysburg, this year will be the Little Big Horn. So many places yet to travel.
In the morning, I am going to e-mail them your channel info. I truly believe they will enjoy your rendition of the so important, and not enough implemented, history of a dark, but very important time of our great nation.
Thank you for all your hard work.
Your narration is one of the very best.

As someone who fell in love with Civil War history reading authors like Foote and McPherson, this channel deserves every bit as much praise and honor. Thank you for the time and effort you have spent bringing the Civil War to life for a new generation.

I remember in a 5th grade field trip, we marched across a Gettysburg field and the tour guide would shout out our pre-assigned soldiers names and we had to drop to the ground. Out of like a class of 25 that was like three of us left standing. Pretty sure I got knocked out in the first four people.

Hearing you go over the soldiers fighting over the standard brings me back to that day. What a crazy battle.

Thank you
