  I have used Penn 209`s and 309`s for the last 40+ years. I even use the Penn 209`s for catfish and alligator gar.

  I learned from another YouTuber that if you cast a conventional reel and then keep the reel facing down; gravity will help get some extra distance. After that video, I have been doing that for crab snaring in the San Francisco area.

  interesting take on braid, where im from in aus its pretty widely accepted that its harder to work with but gives further cast, good video mate
