  Not 6/0 wire, 6 AWG wire. There is a HUGE difference.

  You are the reason I bought my out equip 12 volt I have a custom built semi truck sleeper. I had told out equip about you. You saved me money last year you are great and farrrrr better then most greedy men rv techs thank you...

  I watched a women who lives in a pick up truck with a camper ontop and she just bought a 12 volt ac. So she ran a test to see how fast her camper would cool and how much battery life. She has like 3 lithium batteries. She did this test in the Mojave desert lol. So camper 92 degrees, she set thermostat at 74 and speed turbo. Battery 100%. In 1 hour her camper was 74 and her battery and 94%. She ran the ac that afternoon and through the night. In the morning her battery was 66%. So i think it might be the same in a van. Her camper well insulated, black out curtains, reflective board. This was very encouraging because im not going with out ac.

  When I recoated my rv roof with elastomeric media, the supplier strongly suggested to put wood strips about 3/4&quot; high around the hole that the AC sits on. &nbsp;We coated that wood with the elastomeric media to make it water proof and the foam gasket sits on top with the AC on top of that.<br>With this mod, even if the foam gasket blows out, water will NEVER leak inside the coach.

  I’ve had very good luck with the country mod I installed on my 40 foot diesel pusher I’m in South Florida 500 amp hrs &nbsp;power of battery 400 watts of solar. When running down the road I can run the 12 V AC instead of running my generator with the 12 V and the dash AC keeps it fairly comfortable unless it’s really hot out when Boondocking I turn on the generator about seven or 8 o’clock at night run it for 2 to 3 hours Pre-cool the coach with the big basement ACs and I’m able to run my country mod and keep it 70° in the coach all night and only go through 50% of my battery running my inverter to run phone chargers and the residential refrigerator I’m pretty happy.

  I&apos;m having a Countrymod installed as we speak. And I upgraded my AGM&apos;s to two 300Ah Renogy Minis. I have a 19 foot Winnebago Solis P. It&apos;s a flat top so no poptop, meaning that there&apos;s room for both a fan and an AC. And it had the cheap factory manual Coleman Mach that I hated because there was no Bluetooth and it was hard to reach - even on a stepstool reaching across the Murphy bed to the ceiling was tough for a shortie. I was sick of it. And being able to run the A/C off batteries will also enable us to leave the pup in the car on a hot day and let her stay cool if we need to go into a restaurant or someplace that she&apos;s not allowed. Things like that - yes I put in an expensive system for my dog! But there are so many other uses. This will allow us to be more comfortable in a campground without hookups. <br>So I appreciate both of your videos. We decided on the CountryMod over the OutEquip because of the routing of the wires. That was the big selling point. Edge Vanworks, the premier &nbsp;Promaster outfitter in the SF East Bay Area, recommended the CountryMod as a simpler installation for Promasters. So that&apos;s what we&apos;re doing right now. And thank you for all the info in both of your videos.

  Wiring up the fan to run only with the compressor is easy and has 2 common ways to accomplish. &nbsp;Direct tap, connect the fan + -directly to the compressor + - , or the more professional way, relay triggered. Interrupt the fan + with a relay wired to the compressor + - as the trigger.

  Now you tell me. You already got me to buy the Outequip 12v ac for my van! &nbsp;The one I got, while the instructions were definitely lacking, it does give directions for routing the main power cable through the inside of the until without having to make another hole. &nbsp;It was easy. &nbsp;Thanks for what you do, you&apos;ve been a tremendous help.
