it's about time the RV industry embraces efficient A/C units. They are stuck in the dark ages, using the same units that we've had for the last 40 years. I'm planning a build from scratch and will be going to a custom efficient unit.

Well done. I like how you give the pros and cons at the end. I helped my son-in-law and daughter refurbish a 1972 Airstream, and this AC unit would have been perfect for it. I love how it slowly ramps up to full power making a small generator an easy fit. I could also see it being used with solar, at least during the sunny days. Batteries would also last a bit longer if your boondocking and leaving for a couple of hours and wanted to keep the rig cool. Love how you try and show those new ideas coming out for RVing.

I'm liking the Turbro unit. There is competition though: Pioneer has a 13,500 BTU Full Inverter Rooftop RV Air Conditioner & Heat Pump, 115V. Very similar.
