Thank you very much for the introduction of this tester. You cannot immagine how much time i spent to finally find a product that can give pinpoint accurate diagnose of a C cable capability. Everything i found was lacking on some features, but this one is just perfect, this is what i was searching all along. I have a bag of cables and i want to dispose a lot, and this will help me to decide which cables i keep and which ones i get rid of. Thank you again, this video is extremely helpful and this product is an excelent choice. Special thanks for demonstrating it with every possible USB standards that even exist.

BTW, for Lightning connector, the manufacturer says to ignore the resistance reading, as the Apple chip in the cables mess up the readings.

Great video. Thanks for explaining what the different readings mean in great detail. I will be coming back to see what else you have tested and reviewed.

I have one of these and find it very useful. Be aware that there are multiple framework versions on the market. The V4.01 to V4.05 are updatable, though the newer V5.01 is not. I would like to purchase a second one to avoid frequently needing to carry with me, but so far have held back since I can't know which framework is included. I hope that over time the V5.01 framework will be more common as the older V4 stock disappears.

I have a whole shoe box full of cables to test. I will bet more than half of them will get disposed off.

Pulling on the rubber part of the Lightning plug triggered me. That is often the first part of those cables to fail, even when you don't pull on it.

Great video! Its important to note though that the e-marker actually also is ‘just claims’. Its the digital version of vendor claims about the cable, and in the case of a cheap Chinese cable could still be wrong
