  I loved the The Darkness. You could watch a TV in a subway that had actual episodes and a FULL movie with Jackie&apos;s girlfriend

  Something that gets missed is that the ending to Darkness 1 is a &quot;bookend&quot;. The first words you hear when you start and the last when you end are &quot;Wake up&quot;, making the game into an infinite loop.

  Honestly the darkness 1 and 2 are two sides of the same coin. If I&apos;m craving for an amazing atmosphere and story I&apos;m going with darkness 1, but if im itching to rip and tear with the darkness im going with darkness 2. They&apos;re both amazing they just have different strengths and weaknesses, and i think that&apos;s A okay they&apos;re both amazing in their own right

  I love the darkness 1 so much, I wish there was a 3rd game coming out but alas nothing so far. Maybe one day in the future

  The Darkness 1 is super underrated. I’m lucky that my mom did research on the types of games my brothers and I liked, and bought this game for us on the Xbox 360; we wouldn’t have known about it otherwise.

  I believe the reason why they didn&apos;t make this a 3rd person action game is because of Prototype.

  I really like the Darkness 2&apos;s story but my beef with it is that it&apos;s stupidly short. It&apos;s only like a 5 hour campaign!

  I wish you could&apos;ve talked about The Darkness in context with Starbreeze&apos;s previous game Butcher Bay. Since The Darkness ran on the same engine and was heavily influenced by Butcher Bay in terms of gameplay. Butcher Bay was also hub based and had minor side missions where you could do favors for other characters. They were moreso turning Butcher Bay into a The Darkness adaptation.
