  Why dont they put the stream on a 30 second delay?  They’ve done that with other public cases. Easy solution

  I feel that a large number of people do not understand what these court proceedings are about. This is a PROBABLE CAUSE hearing. In a simple analogy, it would be like walking up to a cashier asking to buy something behind the counter, but you’re asked to prove that you have money to pay for it before they will even help you. Otherwise, you’re just wasting their time. A probable cause hearing is meant for the State to show the court it has ENOUGH evidence to proceed to trial, and trial is where the defendant’s guilt or innocence will be determined. Not at the probable cause hearing. At a minimum, this is at least the third time in which the standard of probable cause has been tested. First, an enforcement agency has to determine if a crime has even been committed. Then they would proceed with an investigation, gather evidence to further support probable cause findings and submit their evidence to the charging attorney. The charging attorneys go through the elements of the case and determine if the probable cause has legal standing or strength enough to accept the charges before adding the case on court trial dockets. Most pretrial hearings are not made available for mass public media. Most are closed hearings and are mentioned at trial when reasons for not showing certain bits of evidence or the absence of certain witnesses, or certain things cannot be said or mentioned in the presence of the jury. There is no legal justification for the defense to bring forth evidence to show their client is not guilty at this point in time. They can and should only offer refutable testimony against the evidence presented by the State, and why it should not be considered or given weight. In this case, the defense is mostly arguing DNA reliability. In the Kouri Ritchens case, the defense was able to keep the word “fentanyl” out of court and from the jury’s ears in the pretrial hearings, and that’s why they kept saying “illicit street drugs”. <br><br>We have to wait for the actual trial for ALL the evidence. This hearing was to establish ENOUGH evidence.

  Before people get all up in arms, remember that the defense loses probable cause hearings 99.9% of the time.

  The “court whisperer” prosecutor, the “raspy voiced” defense attorney and the “mad typing” judge. &nbsp;This trial is going to be a tough one to get through!

  This is a pre trial and should be made public. Tyler did not shoot Charlie in a closed room but out in public for the world to see.
