Key Points to Remember After You Watch The Video. (Thank Me Later):
1. Stronger legs help you stay mentally sharp and keep your brain bigger as you get older (0:20).

2. Muscles are like little factories that make special chemicals that travel to your brain to help it grow and stay healthy (0:40).

3. Scientists studied twins and found that the one with stronger legs had a much healthier brain after twelve years (4:47).

4. Doing exercises like squats sends a message to your brain to build more connections between your brain cells (6:30).

5. Muscles release a hormone called irisin when they work hard, which acts like fertilizer for your brain (7:43).

6. This process boosts BDNF, a super important protein that helps your brain cells survive and makes memory stronger (6:30).

7. Your leg muscles are the biggest glucose sponges in your body, which helps keep your blood sugar levels steady and good for your brain (10:00).

8. Regular exercise improves your heart health and gets more blood and oxygen flowing to your brain (11:47).

9. You only need about thirty minutes of strength training twice a week to start getting these brain benefits (13:17).

10. Choosing to take the stairs or using a standing desk are simple ways to keep your leg muscles active every day (14:56).

Hope I hit 100K subscribers soon.... so my dad stops thinking I’m wasting time helping people. 💪💪💪

I started doing deep squats. After a few days, my lower back was aching. Now that I've rested, I'll keep going. Pure satisfaction when you see your progress, I feel 20 years younger since I started taking care of my well-being.

My ex wife paid for a gym membership but would drive around the mall parking lot endlessly looking for the closest spot. I park far away rain or shine - it's a no brainer.

I'm female, 75 and healthier than ALL my friends. I was a body builder, swimmer, marathon runner, bicycle racer, sculler rower in my younger days. This partially explains my strength and health now. All that has paid dividends plus my carnivore lifestyle will get me to my 120th birthday. Plus I am constantly learning and my mind shows no cognitive decline...I know why I went into that room...lol

I got rhabdo from a brutal leg day at the gym. The recovery was awful. I've noticed that my memory and just overall clarity isn't as good as it was pre-rhabdo.
Very interesting.
