  Honestly after travelling throughout China for a month, I would add that infrastructure, technology, civil society, retail, everything makes the U.S. seemed like a third world

  On 9 June 2026 I went to the people’s hospital here in China, I had a skin rash and I needed some advice on how to treat it, I got my ticket to get in the queue to see a skin specialist, I waited for 15 minutes, the doctor gave me a prescription to treat my ailment, he gave me an invoice for the medication and the consultation, the cost of the consultation was US$1.50 and the medication cost was US$4.80, &nbsp;I went to the cashier and paid the invoice then I went down two floors to the pharmacy and my medication was there waiting to be picked up, (this included, the 1 shot for my butt, 2 tubes of skin cream, small pack of vitamin pills and some oral medication), after picking up the medication I went to the injection room where a nurse gave me a single shot to the butt. This whole process took 40 minutes.

  US should not blame China for everything, instead of using their money to build their country, they spend their money to make many weapons and fighting wars and killing people or bully around the world.

  No wonder the U.S. politicians call China a threat. China is a ‘threat’, imagine more Americans go to China for medical, it will threaten insurance companies in U.S. and billionaires who owned these companies.

  I just came back from China on August 4, 2026. I was in Shanghai when I got sick and had to visit the hospital. It took one hour and 124 Yuan to see the doctor, get a shot, and 4 different types of medicines. Like the girl in the comment, I had no insurance. The conversions to dollars is literally around $19 in total. It’s unbelievable. I know what I’m doing when I retired. I’m heading to China.
