  FVJ is the most disturbing design to me, because of how simple it is. He looks like a 60 year old, drowned and bloated corpse. The hockey mask is yellowed with old blood and grime, like he&apos;s been at it for decades. The face is grotesque, but almost fully regenerated like he&apos;s avoided death for so long that his flesh is growing back and about to fully regenerate, he even has both of his eyes back.<br><br>He&apos;s like Frankenstein&apos;s monster but devoid of anything but cold and uncaring malice, he doesn&apos;t emote, he doesn&apos;t even show rage like Kane Hodder&apos;s Jason. His chest doesn&apos;t heave with wrath, he only has a sense of inhuman focus. He moves like a machine, no wasted energy.<br><br>You can never hide from him, because he knows every place there was to hide within his territory. The old &quot;under the bed&quot; or &quot;in the closet&quot; technique won&apos;t work.

  I honestly really dig Jason&apos;s appearance in Part 8. I like the yellow hockey mask and how he&apos;s waterlogged, constantly wet and slimy. To me, that design solidifies him as the lake monster of... well, Crystal Lake. Only thing I dislike is the face.

  Knowing Jason Voorhees is in canon the same age as both Donald Trump and my grandmother is kinda crazy 😅 like he&apos;s technically 79 when you put the canon in real time 😓 mans a senior citizen

  Nah, Jason in Part 8 is so good. The waterlogged look with the yellow tinted mask is so damn cool. He really looks like a Lake monster here.

  Good to see Ken Kirzinger getting his flowers for his fantastic performance. He really did combine the motions of C.J. Graham with the anger/mannerisms of Kane Hodder.
