  If I had a nickel for every time I've been at Disney World at the same time as the Carlin brothers but didn't actually see them, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

  Always enjoy the post Disney Pop.  Last year's with the wives and the odds on betting was awesome. Also, was at Disney Springs the week before the Carlin Fam and it brought cheer to my heart seeing a Kuzco stuffie in the main Disney store.  Respect for "Emperor's New Groove".

  The Disney World pin traders sound a lot nicer than the Disneyland pin traders. I was inspired by the brothers to try pin trading at my last Disney trip so I bought a batch off Facebook marketplace to trade. I tried talking to one of  pin traders set up with their binder and they were rather condescending towards me when I was talking about how I was new to the hobby. I recognize that I might have just spoken to the wrong person but it almost turned me off to the whole thing. In the end I only traded with the cast members and left with some pins I'm really happy with!

  Hey guys if you see this: when I was 6 we went to Disney for the first time and my mom took me on the (then) Twilight Zone Tower of terror, and the Line for the ride terrified me so much that I tried to take the chicken exit. She made me go and it was ROUGH - my brothers would hum the theme song to freak me out for months. BUT we went back 5 years later and it was my favorite ride and I'd come around to the show as well, so it could still work out for you

  I'm part of a local Disney Pin group and we just had a big event at a hotel near BWI airport. We had around 800+ people come to the event. We also raised over $10,000 for St. Jude. It's so much fun to see all the cool pins and trade with other Disney fans. I really wanted to Muppet Living with the Land pin. Now everyone is selling it online for $60+.

  My mom traumatized me by taking me on the Georgia Cyclone at Six Flags Over Georgia when I was about 7. It was the first ride we rode in the park and I didn't want to ride anything else the rest of the trip. I would occasionally try them on other trips, but it took another six or so years for me to finally start liking roller coasters. Now I love them! I was just one of the people who needed a little extra time to find the fun in it. We still laugh about that first one though.

  Our budget airline does Tuesday Thursday! Which works really well for a long weekend or a really cool week!

  I was always terrified of any rides that even had the smallest drop. Now the ride can't be fast or high enough. So there is still a chance for the kids. 😋

  It doesn't have to be that way with the character meals. If you get food and the characters are passing your table they will be back around they are really good at knowing what tables are missed or newly filled. If they do miss you for some reason you can let one of the other cast members know and they will bring the characters around and make sure you aren't skipped.
