  In the early 90’s I was driving on I-80 between Cheyenne and Laramie during a blizzard and I was finding it very difficult to see the road. A semi driver got in front of me, slowed down, put on his hazard lights, and got me through what could have been a deadly trip.<br><br>I know he saved my life. <br><br>I wish I could have given him a great big hug.

  My two-year daughter and I went on a road trip during the one anniversary of my husband’s death. &nbsp;We drove from Southern California to Seattle. During one of my gas stops, the driver of a large semi came over to me to let me know that all the truckers were keeping on eye on us re safety. &nbsp;They would just hand off the info to the driver ahead. &nbsp;This went on for hundreds and hundreds of miles. &nbsp;I felt very cared for and protected. &nbsp;Our daughter is now 38, and I’ve never forgotten the kindness of all those truckers. &nbsp;Many hugs to each and every one of them! ❤️

  I’ve been an owner op for 11 years.. trucking is not dead to me…… the key for me succeeding is I’m my own maintenance guy…. And I stay close to home…..only 5hr out….Texas Louisiana Arkansas….. that’s me…… I own 2 homes and working to buy another to rent out….. maintenance is the issue… I do all my tires also…… I won’t lose… I bet on myself..

  I was delivering an arcade machine once and it somehow slipped out of the back of my truck and smashed on the interstate. &nbsp;It was a trucker who stopped and helped me get the mess out of the highway. &nbsp;I was amazed that he was so willing to help a total stranger clear the road. &nbsp;I&apos;ve never forgotten what a selfless act this this was, and he had no real need to do this for me. &nbsp;But he did anyway. &nbsp;Much love!

  There is great news. A Chicago area trucking company, Agility Express, recently taught some brokers a lesson regarding ripping off carriers by commandeering dozens of loads and refusing to deliver until payment for previous shipments is made. Many paid up. And so if you&apos;re an O/O or a multi truck firm take note in how to deal with these crooks. Money is the only language they understand.

  Back in November 1991 I was driving from California to &nbsp;Pennsylvania to catch my flight to my next duty station in the Azores. &nbsp;A female traveling &nbsp;alone with a 5 year old little boy. &nbsp;My destination that night was Cheyenne WY. I had to stop and put chains on. &nbsp;While attempting this a truck driver offered to help. &nbsp;He and another trucker were both headed to Cheyenne and they told me to stay between them and they would make sure I arrived safely. &nbsp;We stopped once and I bought them a meal and coffee. &nbsp;It was &nbsp;horrible on the road but, thanks to those wonderful men my son and I arrived in Cheyenne safe and sound. &nbsp;I always give truckers the breaks they need on the road to make their jobs as easy as possible. &nbsp;I have a tremendous amount of respect for these hard working under appreciated &nbsp;men and women. &nbsp;I hate seeing what is happening to these professional drivers.
