Being "given permission" to just embrace the laundry basket storage is something I didn't know I needed to hear. 😭

Another ADHD tip is if you're using reminders or alarms and youa re ignoring them you can use a different sound with them. You also can switch up post it note colors when your brain starts blocking them out. Using your senses to support reminders and using novelty with ADHD helps. Sometimes new fancy sponge or a cleaning scent can be incentive for tasks.

I store my shopping bags in my car now, that's the only way I remember them. When I come home from the store, I put my groceries away, and then I put all the grocery bags inside the biggest one and put it in front of my front door, so the next time I leave the house I remember to put them back.

Pro tip. This video worked well at 2x speed bc she's so articulate and clear. That way the 20 min video time can be halved if you don't have time or mental space for paying attention this long. Such a helpful video for ideas and shortcuts that it's worth it. Don't miss out.

OMG I figured out most of this by myself! I think many ADHD people will put things away if the item has a place. The problem occurs when trying to find a home for something new. Our brain just starts overthinking and we just leave it on the counter, table, etc until we can decide what to do with it..

Would love to see ADHD hacks for keeping smaller spaces tidy, like apartments where we dont have separate craft rooms (crocheter/knitter here) and get everything done on ONE small desk 😂. Also, one on digital clutter would be soooo useful

I do two things constantly throughout the day. 1. Never leave a room empty-handed and 2. Eliminate the evidence. I am constantly moving the whole day. This way my rooms stays clean and there is no evidence of me making coffee, lunch, etc. as I make sure there is nothing left as evidence (also makes it a game for children to "hide the evidence".) Love your hacks. Thank you
