  I am German and in 2015, i was on Vacation in the US. At a Festival i get to know a dude who works in a Brewery. Every Day he served me a new beer. Every Beer sucked hard. At day 7, he gave me the first really good beer... it was brewed according to the German Beer Purity Law!

  German beer in your Aldi may be bottled under licence in the US. Check the label, if not, I'll be made using IS carbonation and other processes not in the original.

  the thing about safety is: people have guns in Germany and people occasionally do fuckshit with them, for sure. But you can't get a gun at grocery store, you most likely can't get any automatic rifle for personal use. You can't carry in public. And that just does a lot for public safety and our collective peace of mind.

  Germany does take care of all people.<br>Yes we pay higher taxes then the us citizens but for that you can visit a doctor whenever needed, you can have a surgery without having to pay anything then 10€ a day in the hospital, pay like 5€ co pay for your meds.<br>The work/life balance is amazing, very affordable universities (like he said), much better food, great maternity leave options for women and men, safety (you don&apos;t have to watch over your shoulder like every single minute cause there are no guns allowed), you can&apos;t be fired on the spot only because your employer &quot;feels like it&quot; and if you totally down with everything, there is a safety net with a supporting system behind it that makes sure nobody has to live under a bridge or on the streets and be homeless.<br>You also don&apos;t need to have a car to go anyway cause almost everything is walkable and we also have extra street lanes for bicycles.<br>Like he also said you can decide to go drink a coffee on a other country, leave like 6 in the morning with your car or a train, be at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeWbc-6MP6I&amp;t=600">10:00</a> there for breakfast, stay the whole day and go back at the evening. :) <br>I could go on and on but I will leave it on that for now since I&apos;m pretty sure you are getting the picture. ^_^

  I believe that the system in the US encourages racism. Many people who get into trouble with the law there are mentally ill. They need medical help, not a trigger-happy police officer. A physical illness combined with racism can be fatal! I simply feel sorry for many people in the US. If the system were more socially minded, there would be far less violence and crime. Germany may not be a land of angels, but here the most important law applies. Human dignity is inviolable!

  he massivly understated the food quality issue, its a nice experience when you go from the states to europe, but i went form europe to the states, and it was HORRIFIC.i guess its alot easier if your basline is the us and then oyu just get an upgrade, but if your baseline is europe and you try to adapt to the us , its very difficult....very very VERY difficult. its kind of like going from 480p to full hd, you notice its &nbsp;little bit nicer but not that big of a deal, but try to go back to 480p when you gotten used to full hd, its impossible.

  The statement that you HAVE TO speak German to be able to study at a German university is only partly correct. It depends on the course of study you wanna do. There are designated studies that are done either fully or mostly in English and you don&apos;t have to speak German to take those studies. Speaking German at least a little bit will be very helpful during your time at university and in everyday life nevertheless 😉
