There were threads running through all the many "Zombie" stories I listened to:<br><br>They all seemed anti-firearms. I understand the need for silence, but there were times ....<br><br>There seemed to be a great deal of time given to inventory and/of planning. Both important, but can be taken to extreme.<br><br>When there was time, when food & water could have been added to the inventory, it often seemed wasted.<br><br>People often came across as overly opinionated. Many childish or "bleeding heart" to the point of endangering others.

The narrator has endless patience with the jerk she allowed into her shelter. I'd tell her "you're not chained here. You want to follow those folks over the ridge? Go for it. Write when you find work."

I would rather the story stick with the original picture of the house, instead of seeing someone try to kill Zombies with a mediocre spanner.
