7 Weirdest Things You Did to Get the ‘True’ Ending

My favorite weird requirement for a true ending is Bravely Second, in which after confronting the main villain, he gets away, his plan succeeds, and the world is overrun with alien monsters, the game says “congrats, here’s New Game Plus!” You then need to start New Game Plus and use a Bravely Second during the tutorial fight, causing the Main Characters from your previous, doomed playthrough to TRAVEL BACK IN TIME and use their future knowledge to redo the events of the game in a way that prevents the main villain’s plans before they even get off the ground. It’s wild and I love it.

As a former psychology student I can confirm that "having a fistfight in a metaverse spawned from the collective unconscious" is in fact something we're trained for. Most of us know Aikido for this very reason.

Honestly with what happens in literally every persona game it was kinda funny that the devs finally put a therapist in the game, lord knows these kids need one

The "return the game to Blockbuster" was the ending I got most often. lol

Far Cry 4. Hear me out. The developers have recently confirmed that the canon (and thus true) ending to the game is the one where you unlock it by waiting 15 minutes in Pagan Myn's dinner table. Doing literally nothing but staring at a screen for 15 minutes with nothing happening on it is the weirdest thing a video game can ask you to do as when you play video games you're either doing something, managing inventory or watching a cut scene.

To be fair, compared to the rest of games in this list here, Maruki's confidant is the least weird thing you need to do lol. You just need to arrange a weekly counseling session with him and maybe drop by and there before the deadline, no need to get strange items, actually temper with your save files, etc..

Sekiro's got its own branch of weirdness for its "true" ending. You need to find two giant snake hearts (one fresh, the other dried) and then give them to a child, who will eat them

The NieR Automata Ending Credits gave me real chills when I realized it was other players data reaching out to me in assistance.<br>And then it gave me even bigger chills when I realized they offered up their save data to do so. I think every gamer can relate to how hard this would be, but I felt not bad given up my save data, too, knowing it would reach another person and lets them hopefully feel the same way.

Who did they hate more, the players or the poor sods that had to make up hundreds of Riddler challenges?

You don&apos;t have to stand there listening to the vinyls in Lies of P, you can close the menue and wander around the hotel lobby, leveling up your character or weapons, etc etc

Im really surprised thatvit wasnt mentioned that the real controversy with the Asura&apos;s Wrath ending, was that not only was it dlc, but it was dlc that was already on the disc. You were paying to unlock content you already paid for

One of the most famous ones was the classic Ghosts and Goblins. &nbsp;Having somehow beaten this insanely hard game, you are told for the &quot;true&quot; ending you need to beat it again from the start. &nbsp;Having finally beaten it twice, you get a pretty anti-climactic ending screen and the eight-year old you realises you are 34 and really, really late for school.
