I'd love a video that takes this even more in-depth, like setting up your GreekStalk from Day 1 - including the potting mix you use, the plants you are adding to various pockets, etc. This is so cool!

While my brother lived in an apartment, he did a similar thing w his herb garden. You can absolutely do amazing gardening in a small space. As someone who owns 2 acres, 2 acres is quite a commitment. I have an herb garden on my patio-- much easier.

Thank you for all the info ❤

I just started with my 3 tiered green stalk to see how I would do. I also have 4 large heavy potted tomatoes with cucumbers. The green stalk is so easy to move as needed. I’m waiting on my 2nd tomato 🍅 green stalk now. The convenience and ease of watering is amazing. Zone 10.

Hi Cassandra, I started my GreenStalk garden last year after watching your videos. It does feel good to have food in my front yard. In your defense when you got your GreenStalks they had not created the spinner bases yet.

Another brilliant idea to teach us to think differently… “What can I stop buying?” 😃👍🏻 Love your videos! We all learn so much.

Oh goodness, what a great video. I am now up to 7 green stalks! And I even have some in-ground crops. But they're so convenient! This year I made a few terrible mistakes. I did the tomato thing. Yes I have the larger varieties in ground. But I'm a steak only thought that I could do cherry tomatoes in a lot of the planter spaces. Just because the fruit is small doesn't mean the plant is small. I knew that, but somehow forgot it in all of the spring excitement. So while I'm looking forward to seeing what Tomatoes I get this year, I will definitely do things differently next year. I also planted some smaller varieties of bibb lettuce. Omg, they are fantastic! But unfortunately I only did about five pockets. Another adjustment for me to remember next year. And if you haven't planted dwarf varieties of sweet peas, do it! First off they're totally adorable and picking the full-size pods and having fresh Peas on a salad in the summer is fantastic!
I agree that the spinner bases are a must. I certainly wish the price wasn't so high though.

The Greenstalks are really well designed. I think they really nailed the volume, stability, material quality, watering system, moving base... even the shape of the pockets and depth choices make it so functional.

This - all of this! We have about 3,000 sq. feet of growing space in our urban homestead yard but my ongoing love of Greenstalk planters is as enthusiastic as you are about yours. I LOVE your videos and am here for all of them for your planter content and also for your cooking content. You make the BEST food videos too!! You really tear it up in the kitchen!
