  Mate - I’ll be in Venice in two weeks time with my family of five. Yours is the best and easiest to follow video I’ve watched on options for transport. You’ve convinced my wife we’ll be taking a water taxi for the ‘once in a lifetime trip’. Cheers 👍

  To get from Marco Polo Airport to Venice (Piazzale Roma), take the ATVO express bus line (often referred to simply as the &quot;Venezia Express&quot; or the main Mestre-Venice line). These buses run directly to the city with tickets costing approximately €10. <br>Key details:<br>Destination: Venice Piazzale Roma.<br>Ticket Purchase: Buy tickets from machines in the baggage claim area, the arrivals hall, or at the ATVO bus stop.<br>Frequency: Buses run frequently, often every 15-20 minutes.<br>Alternative: The ACTV bus 5 is also available for a similar price, but ATVO is usually direct.

  I visited Venice solo this past March and it was incredible. I decided to take the water transport right away, and I’m so glad I did - seeing the city from water first thing was magical. I took the Allilaguna boat for about €17 one way
