Most people do not know that a "word" in Morse code was a standard of five symbols, each symbol represented a letter, number or punctuation point. That means, in the real world of WW2, those people were handling 100 symbols a minute accurately, while writing them in a log book. It is a skill few people today attempt, much less master. Those WRENS were showing the rest of the system where invisible ships were located. The NAZI boats thought there were spies in the German system, when it was their own transmissions sinking them. The worst of it was the sure knowledge they were never going to win, fighting again a determined people and resources 20 or more times their ability. Supply systems beat lightly armed bravery.
