At his funeral, Dr. Heiser's brother read a few comments he'd received after his brother had passed. One said that he had been reading the bible for years in a dark room. Mike Heiser came in and turned the lights on. My sentiment exactly.

3:31:28 I was raised as a conservative Ashkenazi Jew. I was taught not to believe in Jesus. I attended Hebrew school at a young age. I was taught that the Bible was true. At the age of 23 a pastor showed me Isaiah 53 and I believed in Jesus as the Messiah since that day. God opened my eyes. It was so clear. So thankful I was shown Isa. 53. Praise God. I was blind but now I see!!!!

Something i have found interesting. I have asked a few people, whom worship other gods, if they know, that my God is their gods God. What i find interesting is some will tell me yes they know. though many don't know, if they switch over to worshiping their gods God, my God, their old god will no longer have any power over them. The God of all gods will keep them safe from any vengeance their old god may have threatened them with. Always a good thing to let them know. Remember we are here to make friends and lead them to God, not condemn them for their beliefs.

The good doctor connected many many dots for me. I'll be forever grateful. Most Christians don't or won't step into the spiritual world. All they want is the happy Jesus. That's not the full counsel of scripture. He has no questions now. ❤️

OMG! Thank you for this brother! I've been missing him so bad I almost can't even stand to watch him, but his memorial service inspired me to get back into it. Love love love this precious man. He's in that unseen realm now. It's time for us to carry on his work.

.......as a believer for over 44 years and having several great teachers, Dr. Heiser is right at the top, our Lord takes and leaves men and women as He chooses, I want to protest when He takes our great ones away too soon, but He always tells me it is not for me to know and we cannot put "why" and "God" in the same sentence, however we have their teachings in many forms today and for that we can be thankful, after all His word does tell us that there is nothing new under the Son, so all I can say is "thank you Lord for lending us Mike Heiser for as long as he was here with us revealing the truths You showed him and we are the better for that, Bless Your Mighty Name.

Thank you to whoever put these episodes together: such GREAT blessings to access these generous teachings. Missing him but, then again, with the abondance of material he generously left behind, we can still grow from his relentless work. What a great teacher, what a giant! Thank you Dr Heiser! With love and gratitude!

I am so grateful for what I’ve learned from Dr. Heiser!!! I was so frustrated that I threw my scriptures across the room. Dr. Heiser shows up in my feed and know I understand. Forever grateful for his teachings. ❤️☀️

5.9.2023 What a great teacher Michael S. Heiser has been to me and I am sure all of you. Though we miss him dearly, he is home with our Father now and that is beautiful. Till we meet again... bless you Michael.
