Seeing that first scene with Richard Harris, Maggie Smith, and Robbie Coltrane and realising they’re all gone now 🥺

Emma Watson and Rupert Grint didn’t have any film experience prior to HP, in interviews they said they did plays at school and local theaters and then got the part of Hermione and Ron.<br><br>Daniel Radcliffe on the other hand had done a “David Copperfield” telefilm along side Maggie Smith in 1999, so Harry Potter is not his debut to film.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSSPfwTHDME&t=6315">1:45:15</a> no, in the books they don’t show him apologizing to her either. There’s just a passing line that says “from that moment on, hermione Granger became their friend. There are some things you can’t share without ending up liking each other, and knocking out a 12 foot mountain troll is one of them.”

McGonagall gives Harry the fastest broom not because he is famous or because she favours him but because she wants her House to win against Slytherin. McGonagall was once a great Quidditch player herself and she is quite competitive when it comes to her game. You can see her name on the Quidditch plaque next to James Potter`s.

"You don't even like the kid, just let him go to school!"<br><br>The films never tell you this, but it's important to know that the only thing they hate more than Harry himself, is the thought of him experiencing any kind of joy or fulfillment. They would rather endure his presence to know he is miserable, than send him off somewhere where he might be happy or have fun. They're THAT awful.

Harry's mother actually did protect him with magic as she died. Its not stated in the movies but it is in the books, the protection spell that burns Professor Quirrell at the end is blood magic. This is also why Harry Potter has to stay with the Dursleys. Its explained in the book that as long as he has family related to his mother that he sees every year the spell will continue to protect him.

Movies like Harry Potter and LOTR will always stand the test of time because they are timeless classics and very well-made films.

“My children’s generation will show them to their children, so you could be watching it in 50 years time, easy. I’ll not be here, sadly, but Hagrid will” <br>😭😭😭 Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid) said that on the 20th anniversary reunion, he passed away later that same year. 🤍

While its not mentioned in the film the reason everyone's happy Griffyndor won is that Slytherin won the cup for the past seven years. Meaning this is the first time in the memory of every single student there anyone else has managed to win it.
