  I discovered BotezLive during the first abroad trip. That&apos;s also how I discovered Dina, and Alessia, and Anna, and so many others. So thank you to the creators. There is just something about the fact that two sisters set out across the world to challenge strangers in chess that will forever make me happy. Alex you are a legend.   My husband &amp; I are in our 60s. He started playing chess in April 2024, and I started about 2 months later. We now sit down at 5pm every day to play 3 games together against 3 differently ranked chess bots. My husband took to chess very quickly and got proficient. He has taught me so much. We also enjoy watching chess videos together and love how accessible chess has become. It has been very bonding experience. You go, girls!<br><br>PS: that stroppy interruption of your vlog was so rude and disrepectful. You handled it with grace.

  This group of creators Anna, Alex, Dina, Nemo, etc are what got me into finally playing chess after wanting to for a couple years. Now I still watch you all but I do only watch big tournaments for Magnus Hikaru Nepo Fabi etc. &nbsp;So ya I definitely would say you are the bridge connecting the chess world with the general public giving it a broader viewpoint and adding new aspects to engage with that will capture the attention of a much more diverse audience. People who get introduced because they like podcasts, interviews, travel blogs, tutorials, Crazy girls maniclaly DJing &nbsp;alone in their rooms. Etc

  Tbh I wanted to get into chess because my bf loves it. One of Anna’s videos came up in my feed and from there I found your videos, and the Botezs’, and Nemo… you made me more excited to learn chess. You’re a lot more entertaining than the GMs imo and you know what you’re talking about. No one can overlook the influence you and the other creators have on women wanting to get into chess while feeling valued and respected too.

  The guy who left his equiptment on a set that was booked and didn&apos;t know how to politely ask to grab it and thinks his job as a photographer is &apos;important&apos; is Stev Bonhage. <br><br>A photographer with important &apos;shit&apos; to do, don&apos;t make me laugh.

  As a casual chess fan, creators are the only reason I really got into chess in the first place. They are the reason I know Magnus, Hikaru, Fabi, and Gukesh. I now play daily and am willing to spend money in the chess space because they showed me the complexity and beauty of this game. I am low elo 950ish I would love to study more but I work a full time job, have a family, and own 2 businesses. So really chess is my escape for a short time where I can shut out the noise of life and its just me and my opponent and the board.

  I always recognize what people such as Botez do as significant work. Every content creator has their niche but they all collectively bring a certain kind of accessibility, guidance, humility and humor (very important) which for sure have made the game more popular. At the end of the Day, everyone benefits from traction.
