She's using all the colours on the palette for this song. She knows her voice so well.

She was on a Korean talk show, and when she was reminiscing about her childhood when she was all-in on training to be an idol, she was brought to tears and said she was so sorry to her younger self for making her go through such heartbreak (effort =/= dream coming true) and sacrificing her childhood. She spent 12 years from 11 through 23 years old training.

I think this song is devoted to her younger self.

I am ABSOLUTELY fascinated with how much control EJAE has over her voice, the dynamics are so beautiful

EJAE was like in kpop training for like 10 years, everyone kept telling her that her voice is "too low" but thats exactly what makes her stand out, I LOVE that she's able to share her story with her singing and the music video itself

I love how Chris explains but also DEMONstrates on how she sings it and how we can apply these techniques and textures.

She's amazing. I didn't even know her 4 months ago, but now she's my all time favourite female voice. She's out of this world.

This song is such a perfect debut. It’s just flexing her voice, showing off how large her range is and how much control and flexibility she has. Honestly, just give her the Grammy for best vocalist now
