My 357 system is the Henery H12 X model paired with the Ruger GP100 4 inch barrel. I also still have my Ruger security 6.

Decades ago I purchased a Ruger .357. I have 4 cartridge loadings. I am very grateful that I didn't get suckered into the trendy semi-auto swamp. If it ain't broke. . .and K.I.S.S. principle. 😊

Remember to keep a brush handy, to clean the chamber after shooting .38's, before loading magnums.

Its damn sure hard to beat a decent quality 357 single action and if possible one with the 9mm cylinder. Add to that a good quality lever action in 357 it's a combo that's kind of hard to go wrong with.

This was more about gun model sales vs the "system" of 38spl & 257mag. I run a S&W model 36 snubby & a Rossie R92. Same system, not mentioned here.

Let's see ... a Ruger LCR in .357 Magnum, a Colt Python in .357 Magnum that I bought in 1984 as my first handgun, and a Smith & Wesson 1854 Stealth Hunter in .357 Magnum that I'm going to get a buck this year with. Maybe a Rossi R92 in .357 Magnum in the near future.
