A future revision including a parallel port would also be cool

Very nice video! Coming from the ATX side of retro stuff, your videos are very entertaining and interesting. Looking forward for more adventures 😊

Thank you for starting this series! ❤
While I didn't follow you down this PC/104 rabbit hole like I did with your laptop series, this series did inspire me to try and build a tiny but very powerful win98 build to bridge the gap between my mobile 710 and my XP Thinkpad.
Looking forward to the next video!

MMX is a single instruction, multiple data (SIMD) instruction set architecture extension* designed by Intel, introduced on January 8, 1997 with its Pentium P5 (microarchitecture) based line of microprocessors, named "Pentium with MMX Technology". It developed out of a similar unit introduced on the Intel i860, and earlier the Intel i750 video pixel processor. MMX is a processor supplementary capability that is supported on IA-32 processors by Intel and other vendors as of 1997. AMD also added MMX instruction set in its K6 processor.

Zima huh??? Where is the carbonated beer? XD

Interesting that you found an MMX PC/104 card. I am a big fan of the P166 MMX and is often my goto in my retro builds.

I'd love to find a old thin client.

While thrifting I found a new old stock serial transfer cable for windows transfer wizard. I'd love to be able to use it with my win9x slot 1 Pentium III for backing up game saves, fix it utilities 4.0 system file backups, etc to one of my XP machines.

What is the gamepad at 0:30?
Is that good for DOS gaming, like Jazz Jackrabbit?

A MeLe Overclock 4C N100 PC would have suited you well too (far more compact) and if you get the barebones unit like I did, it takes a 32gb SODIMM and you provide your own NVMe. The Zimaboard 2 is cool and all but it's also bulkier with all those external devices attached.
