You have produced more episodes than the majority of hit TV series. And your show has educated, inspired, entertained, and shown woodturners options they never realized could be done successfully. I hope your subscribers enjoy the reruns for a long time to come. Thursdays just won’t be the same without new episodes to watch! Thank you for all the time and effort it has taken you over the years to create these excellent videos. You and the Shady Acres Workshop will be in our hearts for a long time to come.

Phil, I will truly miss you and your videos. I know I will never reach your level of turning, but I have learned so much from watching you. One of the things I will miss the most is your spontaneous laugh! I either laugh with you or at the very least you put a smile on my face.
My heart goes out to you and your family.
Eric from New Hampshire

Phil-I’ve been watching your channel for a few years now, vicariously enjoying your creations. Your humility and light hearted narration have entertained and instructed us and we are all better off for it. Winding down is a process of learning to let go - and we hate it. I’m thankful for how you’ve shared yourself and your giftedness with us. Blessings and peace to you, Phil.

The repair turned out beautifully! You may be slowing down, but your talent remains top notch. Now is the time to do whatever is best for you. Know in your heart that you have touched many thousands of us weekly for years. Your openness, your talent, your honesty and your humor brought me back week after week, year after year. May the love of this community bring you calm and peace. Sending you many hugs and much love. 💗💖

It's a very special bowl, Phil, and I so hope it isn't your last. But if it is, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the beauty and gentleness you have offered. The world is a better place with you in it, being creative and kind. Thank you.

Phil hope you can do more, respect your decision. Lost my Dad a few yrs ago, he and I didn't really see eye to eye. Watching you help fill that void. I am a firm believer that it is important to tell people that make a difference in your life how you feel about them.....love you man! Greg
