  1) Wooden architecture high ceilings lack of electric appliances which produce heat, windows in attics kept open<br>2) Kitchen/oven shifted outside in summer<br>3) Wet towels or bowls of ice hung outside doors/windows<br>4) 2 clay pot method to store veggies<br>5) Reflective lime wash on roof<br>6) Taking shelter in basement <br>7) Loose linen hats and long sleeves which protect them from sunrays<br>8) Putting muslin fabric on roofs which absorb night condensation and act as cold screen in the day<br>9) Wooden or stone floors no rugs<br>10) Cupola ontop of chimeny on roof, which allows house to breathe passively<br>11) Radiant barrier made of aluminum sheets placed inside roof which reflect rays of sun<br>12) Cold well water on bodys pulse points wrists neck ankles by damp cloth<br>13) Ancient trees hundreds of years old such as oak and maple<br>14) Wooden shutters closed tight glass windows and thick fabric curtains which creates an air pocket in the rooms<br>15) Architectural buffer zones, south side of house used to place barns/storage areas keeping living area cool<br>16) In the evening, when air is stuffy, low heat turned on stove for 40mins with window of kitchen opened, and another window on opposite side of house, thiss pulls air from outside to inside due to pressure difference <br>17) Clearing the soffit vents to let the attic breathe removing insulation in summer<br>18) Restoring gable vents to keep attic cool<br>19) Earth tube system 4ft underground using soil coolness one end opens outside the other mouth opens in the house which blows cool air in the house<br>20) Building thick walls thermal mass system which dont absorb heat

  I DID THE RESEARCH INTO THE AMISH WAY, AND THEY ALWAYS USE WHITE THIN WET SHEETS ON THEIR WINDOWS, NOT TOWELS, THEY MUST BE THIN AND THEY MUST USE WHITE, &nbsp;DRY HEAT IS VERY DIFFERENT THAN, HUMIDITY, i would also suggest having electric, simply for fans, that would help a lot,
