Moses was human just like the rest of us. The Israelite people were stubborn and had weak faith. Moses simply lost his temper after dealing with these people for so long, and they just never seemed to learn. This reminds me of parents with their children, teachers with their students, etc.

Moses struck the rock twice, rather than speaking to it, because he trusted in the work of his flesh instead of the faith in the spirit of promise.

Which is central theme running throughout entire bible.

Great video.
Worthy is the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Praise the lion of the tribe of Judah which prevailed to open the book and loose the scrolls thereof.
Praise Jesus

The ending gave me chills. Moses couldn’t enter the Promised Land by his own record, yet centuries later he appears with Jesus on the mountain. What an incredible picture of grace, redemption, and the sufficiency of Christ.

One thing that has always stood out to me is that Moses' greatest failure came after decades of faithful service. It's a humbling reminder that no one ever outgrows the need to trust and obey God.

He was exasperated. All of the life of Moses was very expentional. But when God makes something really clear, we have to take it seriously. Some things in life are not crystal clear. This was a crystal clear situation with God.

Thank you for this great teaching. Moses was the law and the law could not bring them into the promise, Only Jesus Christ and His grace can deliver us from the kingdom of darkness, nothing of our selves our our works. Praise God.
