Growing up in the ’90s, there were three absolute legends in the arcade beat ’em up scene—Alien vs. Predator, X-Men, and The Simpsons. Now that X-Men has finally been announced for home consoles, I’m really hoping the other two follow. It’d be amazing to have all three playable at home someday.

For how many different AvP games we've gotten over the years, I'm surprised we've only ever gotten the one Robocop vs Terminator game.

I have a copy of this on my Raspberry Pi, along with many other arcade games you can't get anymore. Played it with my son a few times, and he loved it.

You forgot to mention that the Xenomorph (or its skull) actually appeared in Predator 2. So the idea has been in the air for at least since 1990.

The Capcom version is actually the only game in the franchise I knew about until recently. I remember seeing (and playing) this in the arcades back in the day and keep hoping one day they get the licensing deals in order so that they can release a port on modern consoles.
