You think OpenAI was all written in Python, not Java. Where are all the Java guys from Sam Altman's Company? I don't think the Vector and Matrix operations that build an LLM from a bunch of documents are written in Python either! I cannot "prove beyond a reasonable doubt" that the GPU and TPU code is actually done in a more hardware-specific language than either of those (Java or Python). <br><br>I cannot perform this proof because the engineers who have designed this technology are not in America, do not speak English, and (I suspect) do not care about the differences between Java, Python, or anything the US says. It was great to see an actual professor try to give a talk about the nuts and bolts that go into an LLM, but I don't think people in New York are very knowledgeable about Asian Technology.
