  i work with middle schoolers. it’s concerning. online the streamers can use plausible deniability, and claim it’s all jokes. but i watch that racism, sexism, homophobia, fat phobia, etc. play out in real life. i think these streamers could take a second to understand that their actions produce harm and violence to marginalized students. i’m studying school psychology right now to address bullying

  IVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO TALK ABOUT THIS!!! my little brother was WORKING this event, he goes to the Hendrix and has a summer job as an events assistant or smth (not an RA, he primarily works at the schools gym) and OH MY GOD. he said the dorms were HORRIFICALLY disgusting, there were layers of grime on the floors and taco sauce sprayed all over the walls in multiple rooms, someone stole a bolted down bench from the campus, they’ve been chucking half-full plastic water bottles at each other and strangers so they explode all over them, streamers were rude to staff and CRAZY entitled (like one of them fully expected my brother to drive him to the gym bc it was “too far”). he was only working it for 2 days and was preparing to beat the hell out of one of the streamers if he bothered him again.

  I think the worst part is that there is no actual line drawn to get kicked out. Throwing hot sauce in someone&apos;s face should get you kicked out. Slapping people and spitting at people should get you kicked out. Calling someone a demon and abomination should get you kicked out. I understand that 99% of the situations are bits but many people think its actually real. Younger viewers seeing these actions go unpunished is just setting a terrible precedent for how normal people act. Many of these moments were created by 20 creators while the other 100 were being perfectly normal and just making content.

  Why does everyone act like everything that went down is in anyway a surprise? He pushed this behavior on children for years (which he is well aware of) and then everyone&apos;s shocked that those children grow up thinking this is an acceptable way to act.

  the pulling leg “bit” was very much not a bit, his friend rage pulled him out the wheelchair and then a random person he didn’t know like that, started pulling his leg and then refused to give a proper apology

  Due to so many streamers pushing homophobia and toxic masculinity I have 10 years old saying words I didn’t know at that age. I’m<br>glad streamers are slowly pushing that rhetoric away and inviting more people with different backgrounds on stream. That’s the only way people can stop being so bigoted.

  They need to stop letting just anyone in. If the event was more like Ludwigs classes I would have enjoyed it. Don&apos;t call it a university when everyone just wanted to treat it like camp.
