  That’s a great recipe and Guinness stout beef stew is very popular in Irish pubs worldwide. However, traditional Irish stew contains lamb rather than beef, and there are always, always potatoes involved!

  Well, I am one of those still dealing with the 80&apos;s and 90&apos;s. &nbsp;But, I cannot wait to start trying all of these delicious soups and stews. &nbsp; Keep coming with them, because it is some of my all time favorite winter food.

  There is no reason to be kidding about drinking an occasional beer. &nbsp;Nothing wrong with that! &nbsp;Now, I have NOT drunk alcohol in 4+ years, only because I have not had any interest in drinking.But, having a beer in the insta pot and eating the food produced with it is NOT drinking as all the alcohol is burned off! &nbsp;So, I can put a beer in here though I may not have any Guinness... &nbsp;And, I LOVE beef stew!!! &nbsp;Making it tomorrow night!

  Just made this tonight! &nbsp;Forgot the Worcestor, but it was still fantastic! &nbsp;I like to allow a natural release for meat - makes it very tender. &nbsp;I served it over mashed potatoes- kids and wive were thrilled. &nbsp;Thanks.

  I always thought that Irish stew was made with lamb and had potatoes, but this version looks delish. Frankly, we don&apos;t eat potatoes often anymore. &nbsp;I had not thought to use short ribs in a stew, but I will try it out thanks to your excellent video.

  First time I ever saw Irish stew without potatoes
