  The vocoder voice you hear at the end of the song is telling the listener to "please turn me over" prompting the listener to turn the record over and play the next side.

  The English trifle analogy was very appropriate because this song was essentially a standard conversation between English people.... put into lyrical form.  We do quite like talking about the weather.

  It was used at the start of Guardians of the Galaxy 2, where the crew are fighting some giant monster, and baby Groot is dancing to the song. Perfect song for the scene.

  Watch the original video of them playing this, the band is huge!! And what you said sounded like banging on metal?, it actually is, its the drummer with his stick tapping on a fire extinguisher!  And its E.L.O., each letter sounded separately.

  A great reaction to E.L.O.&apos;s happy that it&apos;s not raining again track. English weather can feel like it is always cloudy or rainy. <br>I would recommend that you should check out many more E.L.O. tracks and also tracks from The Move who became E.L.O. after some personnel changes. I think you will enjoy them.

  I&apos;ll tell you a personal story about this song. It was a favorite of my brothers, who passed away in 2010.<br> <br>As we were leaving the hospital just after he died, this song came on the radio. I felt like he was telling us that everything was ok.<br> <br>As you near the end of the song where the music changes and the orchestra changes tempo, I imagined my brother climbing the stairway to heaven in time with the music... Then he reaches the top and as the music changes again, the gates of Heaven open up and he is greeted by St. Peter. The gates then close behind him and we are left to be amazed at the Glory of God...<br> <br>As I listen again, tears are rolling down my cheeks.... <br>This song still gives me chills every time I hear it because of the connection to my brother Andy and the fact that it came to us right after he died. ELO has earned it&apos;s place in the hearts of those who love Classic Rock. And how lucky we are that Jeff Lynn went on to make music with other acts and as a solo artist for many years afterwards. &nbsp; <br>Mr. Blue Sky will always hold a special place in my heart.
