I just looked at Elenor Powell and Fred Astaire, what a dancer. Absolutely beautiful lady, and a purity about her.💚☘️

I always feel Eleanor never gets enough love. Whatever superlative i think of, it doesn't quite fit. Her son's book is about Dad. Eleanor is like an accidental tourist. He needs to write a book about her story as well.
Bravo Ms. Ava. A lovely job.❤🎉🎉

Another beautifully written episode. I would have loved to have seen her perform on stage. I also admire her strength and her class. Liked and hyped. Thank you!

Your choices display an intimate understanding of your 'audience.' They also reveal much about you Ava. Eleanor Powell's excellence is beautifully presented, and here you give her the appreciation and acknowledgement her superior skill truly deserved. (But was denied her, being a woman in that era)
She knew she was the best of the best, so she never needed Hollywood to the point of compromising herself as others did. But she made damn sure Hollywood needed her. The movies allowed her to do what she loved, dance, on her own terms. She came in with God on her side.. and she left the same. Her soul was truly her own.
As I've said so often, you're simply the best!

Lady Miss Kier studied her like a book and her act was basically an homage to Eleanor Powell.

What a remarkable woman! I've watched her movies and can't believe her performances were not enhanced by special effects, she was truly amazing! Thanks for honouring her and doing her justice.

Her dancing with Astaire and dancing alone to Fascinating Rhythm are my two favorites. Along with Ann Miller and Vera Ellen, there are no better female tap dancers on the screen.
