Thank you for breaking things down. There are so many rabbit-holes to go down in each area of the hobby that I keep getting hung up when studying for general. Having something concise and accessible helps me understand and keep moving forward in my learning.

I think you hit a home run with this one and if I watch it a couple dozen times I believe I might begin an understanding of the smith chart thanks for the class Sir Ape

Excellent presentation! Making the complex understandable is the sign of good teaching and of technical communications. Kudos. 😃

This is absolutely great as all of your presentations are. I saved this to watch again. Its a lot for me to absorb in one viewing.

This is fantastic! I've watched a lot of videos about smith charts and I probably already knew about 80% of what was in this video, but there was still a lot here that made things clearer for me. The only thing I wish you'd done was give a concrete example of using a combination of capacitive and inductive reactance to move your example point along the various curves until it hit 50 ohms resistive only in the dead center of the chart. I saw that in another Smith chart video (maybe from W2AEW?) and it seemed like the final "here's how to make practical use of the Smith chart" step. But seriously, overall this is the best Smith chart video I've ever seen - great work, and thanks!
