  Yay! More Fat Electrician! <br><br>As for why it took Americans, new to the whole running a country kind of thing, I think stems from the understanding of needing to fix a problem then and there, make it quick and effective. Keep in mind, by that point, the Americans had about 150-200 years of learning how to build from scratch, therefore, there would be severe consequences if certain issues didn’t get addressed in a timely manner. Like a village struggling to eat during the harsh winter kind of consequences. <br><br>Most of Europe already established their countries to not have to worry, and likely the bigger empires took advantage of raising the steaks so that they remain the dominant power. Plus, a lot of cultures don’t know how to deal with confrontation, meanwhile by the time our country gained independence, it was colliding 13 colonies with their own backgrounds and principles, as much as we prefer to get along, we also have experience butting heads lol.

  The reason the British, Spanish, and French didn`t do anything about the pirates was that it was actually to their benefit for the piracy to continue as long as they were not the ones getting attacked. <br>If other countries ships are getting raided, and theirs are not, the Brits, French, and Spanish sell more goods. They get a bigger slice of the trading pie in that part of the world.

  The other big part of the war of 1812 was the fact that England dismissed General Cornwallis&apos;s surrender as his own cowardice and still proclaimed the US as their colonies rather than its own nation. &nbsp;They started threatening our merchant vessels and pressing American sailors into British service forcing us to respond.

  Mercenaries would hang around the ports and bars listening for people who wanted troops. One reason docks, etc., had such a bad reputation.
